Mother of 19-year-old Ghana forward, Felix Afena-Gyan, was at the Cape Coast stadium to support her son in the AFCON qualifier against Madagascar.
The AS Roma star opened his goal-scoring account for the Black Stars with a flicking strike as Ghana thumped Madagascar 3-0 in Cape Coast.
In photos posted on social media, Madam Juliet Adubea celebrated as her son scored his first international goal for the Black Stars.
Having provided the assist for the opener, which was powered home by Mohammed Kudus, Afena-Gyan flicked home Mensah’s cross two minutes later.
Osman Bukari completed the scoring with a brilliant one-on-one as Ghana made light work of Madagascar. The Black Stars will travel to the Central African Republic for the second game of the Group on Sunday.
